Nací en una pequeña ciudad cerca de Lérida, y desde que era niña mi bisabuela me enseñó a coser y hacer ganchillo. Ahí empezó mi amor por la costura.
Con el tiempo, lo fui dejando de lado, pero cuando terminé el bachillerato y llegó el momento de decidir qué quería hacer con mi vida, volví a conectar con esa pasión. Estudiar patronaje y moda fue la mejor decisión que pude tomar. Desde el primer momento supe que esto era lo mío, y además me hacía sentir muy cerca de mi bisabuela.
Durante la pandemia retomé la costura desde casa y empecé a crear bolsas y accesorios. Mis amigas fueron las que me animaron a abrir una cuenta de Instagram para vender lo que hacía... y así nació Kalokairi.

Let me introduce myself, I'm Laila and I'm 20 years old and I'm the one who makes all your orders.
I was born in a small town near Lérida.
When I was little, my great grandmother taught me to sew and crochet and this is where my passion for sewing began.
As the years passed, I stopped sewing and it wasn't until I finished high school and had to ask myself what I wanted to do with my life that I didn't start sewing again.
I decided to study pattern making and fashion and it was the best I could do.
Since I started I saw that this was really what I wanted to do and above all it is something that connects me a lot with my great grandmother.
During the pandemic I decided to start sewing more at home and I started making bags, accessories and later, without realizing it, my friends encouraged me to create an Instagram account to sell the things I made and here I am now.
My purpose is to be able to share my passion and positivity with people, while showing the reality of entrepreneurship and caring for our planet, which is why Kalokairi is a sustainable brand, with materials,
fabrics and a production that respects the environment.
